Itinerary

Morning Pickup:
Begin your adventure with a comfortable hotel pickup at 7:00 AM, and head to the West Bank to explore the marvels of ancient Egypt.

Valley of the Kings:
Your first stop is the Valley of the Kings, the burial place of many New Kingdom pharaohs. Here, you will visit the famous tomb of Tutankhamun, along with other royal tombs, all adorned with vivid murals depicting the journey to the afterlife. These tombs offer insight into Egypt’s beliefs about immortality and the divine power of the pharaohs.

Temple of Hatshepsut:
Next, explore the Temple of Hatshepsut, one of Egypt's most striking architectural achievements. This mortuary temple, dedicated to the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, is built into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari and features three monumental terraces. Hatshepsut was one of Egypt's most successful pharaohs, and her temple reflects both her power and the harmony between her reign and the natural landscape.

Colossi of Memnon:
Visit the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood guard over the Theban Necropolis for over 3,400 years. These statues are iconic symbols of ancient Egypt's grandeur and offer an excellent photo opportunity.

Temple of Medinet Habu:
Discover the Temple of Medinet Habu, a lesser-known but equally impressive monument. Built by Ramses III, it is adorned with intricate reliefs that narrate the pharaoh’s military victories, including the defeat of the Sea Peoples. This temple offers a glimpse into the military and architectural achievements of Ramses III’s reign.

Traditional Egyptian Lunch:
After exploring these incredible sites, enjoy a delicious traditional Egyptian meal at a local restaurant. Savor authentic flavors as you relax and reflect on the day’s journey through ancient history.

Your extra expenses will include items like drinks, gifts, tips, excluded entrance fees, and laundry. You can pay with cards or some foreign currencies at many places; however, it’s highly recommended that you exchange your money for Egyptian pounds and keep cash and change on you when out sightseeing.

Tipping is not a natural part of many Western cultures and many of us feel uncomfortable, or unsure, about when, or how much, to tip. However, in the places you will visit, tipping makes up a significant part of many people's wages so it's important that we get it right. For this reason we've developed a very simple system to take all the hassle out of tipping. With our 'tipping made easy' policy, a nominal pre-determined amount is collected from all group tour participants to cover tips en route. This then saves you the hassle of when and how much to tip bellhops, luggage handlers, local guides and other support staff through the tour. Our 'tipping made easy' doesn't include a tip to your group tour leader. Naturally, though, the amount is up to you as tipping is an entirely personal gesture.
