Overview

Experience the best of Luxor and Cairo on this two-day excursion departing from Safaga. Visit a beautiful Karnak and Luxor Temples, take a gorgeous hot air balloon flight over the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, and then take a flight to Cairo. Explore the Sphinx, the famous Pyramids of Giza, and the Egyptian Museum's artifacts on the second day. Before heading back to Safaga, finish with a tour of Old Cairo and the colorful Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

Itinerary

Start your two-day trip with a pickup at 11:00 PM the night before from Safaga. Once you arrive in Luxor the following morning, begin the adventure with an amazing hot air balloon flight over the ancient sites of Luxor. This will give you an amazing view of the Valley of the Kings and the green banks of the Nile. Explore the Valley of the Kings, where you can see the ancient pharaohs' tombs. After that, visit the magnificent Hatshepsut Temple, which honors Egypt's strong female monarch. Enjoy a traditional Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant. Continue up your tour to the beautiful Karnak Temple, one of the biggest religious complexes in the world. then visit the famed Luxor Temple to complete your Luxor exploration. In the evening, board a flight to Cairo and unwind at your hotel overnight.
Explore the greatest attractions of Cairo on the second day. Begin by exploring the ancient history and taking wonderful images of the famed Sphinx and the amazing Pyramids of Giza. Discover the vast collection of antiquities, including treasures from Tutankhamun's tomb, in the world-famous Egyptian Museum. Following an Egyptian lunch, visit Old Cairo, stop by the Hanging Church, and take in the colorful ambiance of Khan El Khalili Bazaar. After a full day, a transfer to Cairo Airport for your return to Hurghada < Where the driver will be waiting to pick you up to the port. Bring with you priceless memories of Luxor and Cairo.

e-Visa

Most nationalities can obtain an e-Visa for tourism purposes before travel by completing an application and making payment online. - Single entry tourist visa for Egypt

  • The single-entry tourist visa is valid to enter Egypt once for up to 30 days. Tourists must enter Egypt within 3 months of the arrival date indicated on the application form.

- Multiple-entry tourist visa for Egypt

  • The multiple-entry tourist visa is valid to enter Egypt more than once during the validity period. Each stay in Egypt must not exceed 30 days.

- Can I get a visa on arrival in Egypt?

Once you land, you need to go to the visa on arrival window, after getting in the queue at the immigration office. Keep in mind that when you pay for your Egypt visa on arrival, you need to pay in ($) US dollars - you aren't allowed to use any other currency, and it is preferable if you have the exact amount. Also, you need to pay in cash because credit or debit cards are not accepted. the normal rate for entry visa to Egypt is between $25 to $30 depending on the exchange rate.

-Weather in Egypt

Egypt is visited all year round. However, depending on your preferences, there are certainly times when it’s better to go than others. In the Summer, from June to August, temperatures get extremely high, sometimes unbearably so. If you aren’t able to handle extreme heat, it’s best to avoid this time. If you can, this is a great time to avoid crowds and get lower prices. This is also a good time to visit one of the popular resorts on the Red Sea coast.

Cooler temperatures occur between September and May. This is considered High Season and of course, December and January are the Peak Winter Season. These times of the year are when prices are a bit higher than during the Summer months.

How much money do i need for my trip ?

- Can i drink tap water

The tap water in Egypt  is safe to drink however it is heavily chlorinated and thus it tends to have foul taste. In general, in all regions of Egypt it is recommended to rather stick to drinking boiled or bottled water in order to avoid an upset stomach. Although, the tap water is safe for cleaning your teeth and so there is no need for bottled water when brushing your teeth.

- what female tourists should wear

In less touristic places, relatively modest dress is recommended. Women should avoid very tight clothing, keep their shoulders and knees covered, and avoid very revealing necklines. Men should also avoid particularly revealing clothing. wearing shorts is not very common among Egyptians. Dressing with relative modesty is a way of respecting the local culture. The metro in Cairo has separate cars for women that might be more comfortable, especially during rush hours when the cars can be very full.
