Begin your adventure from Safaga Port to Luxor with a sunrise hot air balloon flight over ancient landscapes. After a traditional lunch, see a huge Karnak Temple before returning to Safaga Port from Luxor.

Itinerary

Begin your two-day journey with a pickup from Safaga at 11:00 p.m. the night before. Upon arrival in Luxor the next morning, start your adventure with an incredible hot air balloon flight over Luxor’s ancient ruins, offering breathtaking views of the Valley of the Kings and the lush Nile banks. Continue with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, home to the tombs of Egypt’s ancient pharaohs. Next, explore the elegant Hatshepsut Temple, dedicated to Egypt’s powerful female ruler. Enjoy a traditional Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant before moving on to the magnificent Karnak Temple, one of the world’s largest religious complexes. End your Luxor excursion with a visit to the iconic Luxor Temple.

After a long day, return to Safaga Port carrying with you wonderful memories of your Egyptian experience.

With some sensible precautions and preparations, you will be able to explore Egypt tours and trips and enjoy Egypt’s generally safe cities with ease. Claiming a usually low crime rate visitors are usually safe especially in areas frequently visited by tourists.

It is difficult to determine an exact amount of spending money to take on a trip to Egypt. However, we recommend that you budget for around 25 to 50 USD per person per day (at a minimum). Your extra expenses will include items like drinks, gifts, tips, excluded entrance fees, and laundry. You can pay with cards or some foreign currencies at many places; however, it’s highly recommended that you exchange your money for Egyptian pounds and keep cash and change on you when out sightseeing.

Tipping is not a natural part of many Western cultures and many of us feel uncomfortable, or unsure, about when, or how much, to tip. However, in the places you will visit, tipping makes up a significant part of many people's wages so it's important that we get it right. For this reason we've developed a very simple system to take all the hassle out of tipping. With our 'tipping made easy' policy, a nominal pre-determined amount is collected from all group tour participants to cover tips en route. This then saves you the hassle of when and how much to tip bellhops, luggage handlers, local guides and other support staff through the tour. Our 'tipping made easy' doesn't include a tip to your group tour leader. Naturally, though, the amount is up to you as tipping is an entirely personal gesture.
